Our <strong>Technical Project Manager<\/strong>\u2014not a traditional PM, but a <strong>hybrid technical leader<\/strong> will drive the technical front of our most strategic automotive projects (12V and EV), while contributing 30\u201340% of time toward project coordination, planning, and stakeholder alignment.<\/p>\n<p>You are someone who has a strong engineering background, enjoys working hands-on with products, customers, and cross-functional teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A DAY IN THE LIFE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as the technical lead on customer-facing projects while providing partial project management ownership.<\/li>\n<li>Translate customer requirements into technical solutions using Midtronics products.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate technical details clearly to both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Provide expert-level guidance on 12V and EV battery solutions to customers and internal teams.<\/li>\n<li>Lead or support product demonstrations and deliver compelling technical presentations to customers, decision-makers, and partners.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to design, customize, and deliver scalable hardware\/software solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and evaluate technical risks, dependencies, and constraints throughout the project lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in technical training efforts for sales staff and partners.<\/li>\n<li>Represent Midtronics at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WHAT YOU\u2019LL NEED:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering or related technical field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3\u20135+ years of experience in technical project management or engineering leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Nice to have: Strong foundation in hardware and software development, including embedded systems or automotive electronics.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience working with supply chain teams in a product delivery environment.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and all phases of the product design lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience presenting executive leadership and communicating complex project statuses and decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership experience in guiding cross-functional teams, managing vendors, and supporting global customer engagements.<\/li>\n<li>A bias for ownership\u2014gathering feedback, aligning goals, and driving consensus across multiple stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the automotive industry is highly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, customer-facing language.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in technical documentation and solution design presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel for customer visits, trade shows, and strategic business meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">Graag solliciteren?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">VLSG verzorgt de werving &amp; selectie namens Midtronics voor deze vacature.
