Job Summary:
The Customer Support Specialist is accountable for the accurate and timely processing of documents and transactions, ensuring superior service and customer satisfaction. This role requires close collaboration with account managers, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide information about products and services.
  • Handle order entry, order confirmation, and invoicing for customers.
  • Prepare and manage all required shipping documents.
  • Resolve customer service or billing complaints, including exchanges, refunds, and invoice adjustments.
  • Contact customers to respond to inquiries and provide updates on claim investigations or planned adjustments.
  • Recommend improvements in products, packaging, shipping, service, or billing procedures to prevent future issues.
  • Collaborate closely with account managers regarding sales and bookings.
  • Maintain accurate customer information in the Midtronics business system.
  • Ensure correct selling prices and discounts in the Midtronics business system.
  • Update Midtronics price lists for external circulation to customers.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales, bookings, and backlog.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • MBO+ / HBO education or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (verbal and written). Additional languages (German, French) are a plus.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills – you maintain an overview, even when things get busy.
  • Team player with a collaborative and positive approach.
  • Proactive, flexible, and professional with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially driven and customer-focused.
  • Energetic, reliable, resilient, and confident personality.
